this might come off as cruel or sadistic, but i don't want walpurgisnacht rising to have a perfect ending for madoka and homura. i dont want a doom and gloom ending, either - i think the best outcome of the film would be a bittersweet ending ♡

i dont wanna flood your dashes, so ill elaborate below the cut!! and in case you dont want to read, ill wish you a good day now ♡♡

first tho, pmmm is a story of hope, and it's given that to me and so many others for over a decade now. i think everyone is touched by it in a different way, and that's one of my favorite parts of this community!! but that's also to say, i know i don't speak for everyone here, and i love seeing posts about a happily-ever-after scenario for the holy quintet ♡ i love all of these characters immensely, and i definitely understand the desire to see them finally find peace, so i dont write this with any ill intent towards the characters or all of you in this community who just want to see them happy ♡ i know many of you have just as special a place in your heart for this series as i do, and i think thats incredible for so many reasons ♡

that said!

madoka's wish and homura's wish are inherently incompatible. they're mutually exclusive. madoka cannot sacrifice herself for the greater good without devastating homura, and homura cannot keep madoka safe without preventing her from fulfilling her dream of giving everything she has to others. there cannot be hope without despair, after all.

ive always loved the ending of the og series for being so bittersweet. it says "life can be painful, but there's always reason to hope", and "you are never alone", but it doesn't promise a perfect outcome. life will hurt, and you can do everything in your power to change it, but just as you can always find hope for a better tomorrow, you can never erase all of the pain from the world. i think a happily-ever-after ending would muddle that message, and i don't think its possible for madoka and homura to live happily together - at least not as they are now.

if madoka and homura were to end up together at the end, they'd both have to undergo major character development. madoka would have to realize that as hard as she tries, she can't save everyone, and sometimes the pain you'll cause by sacrificing yourself will outweigh whatever hope you might instill. homura would have to come to terms with the fact that she cannot spare madoka from every source of pain without, herself, hurting madoka.

the happiest ending i could forsee (for madohomu, at least) would involve both of them undergoing a major event to come to their respective conclusions and move forward together with that trauma and an earnest desire to reach an equilibrium. i think the most effective way to accomplish this would be a major character death - probably mami and/or sayaka (and if both, may as well throw in kyoko and nagisa for extra angst! :) ♡) - that occurs specifically because madoka has overused her magic to help others and no longer has any to give to save her friend(s) without completely corrupting her soul gem, and similarly because homura could not prevent madoka from witnessing the death(s) of those she cherished and experiencing that grief and pain.

alternately, the two could cease to exist together. perhaps the "homura is walpurgisnacht" theory is true (i think there's a solid chance) and in order to save the world, madoka has to use all her strength to kill her and the two of them go down together kyosaya style.

another fun ending (albeit not one where the two are together) is a variation of madoka killing homura as walpurgisnacht - what if madoka had to kill homura before she becomes walpurgisnacht, in a direct parallel to homura shooting madoka's soul gem to prevent her from becoming a witch? oh how the turn tables,,,,

ooh! or what if both homura and madoka have to disappear together, but ai (clara doll #15, and our mystery magical girl if that theory holds (which i also think is likely)) lives on as a remnant of the love they shared?? then we could get a manga afterwards thats just a lil story about ai's life as a magical girl too!!

Friends to Enemies to back to Friends to Lovers. Iconic. I still want a movie with their adventures bringing magic back to the universe.

Hollstein (Carmilla)

My third beloved blonde with a cat gf ship. I miss this web-series every day. Also, Natasha Negovanlis played an immense role in my gay awakening.

Ellie and Riley (The Last of Us: Left Behind)

Ellie and Dina are adorable and I love them, BUT I just will never get over these two. That dlc fucked me up. (also, they're in the same category with Korrasami as "gay ships that hauted me before I realized I was queer" lol)

Lumity (The Owl House)

I remember starting this show feeling it as the successor of Steven Universe, at least to me. We could say that at level of mistreatment from its parent company, it defenitely surpassed it, but at least I'm glad I was right and we got Luz and Amity becoming canon. I love these two and not a day passes without me yelling at Disney for what it did to them.

Bubbline (Adventure Time)

I actually watched Adventure Time fully only recently, but I always loved them even when I watched the show randomly when it appeared in tv back in the day. Getting to see the progression properly just made me love them even more.

Yasammy (Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous/Chaos Theory)

Incredibly recent addition, but I am so glad that I checked out Camp Cretaceous and got into it. It's a nice show and these two are a really cute couple, their confession and especially Yaz's internal turmoil were just so on point. I was really happy to see them go still strong in Chaos Theory, and I can't wait for next season.

Pricefield (Life is Strange)

These two caused me pain in the best possible way. I felt literal heartbreak at the Bay Ending, and I was just as emotional at the Bae one (Bae > Bay Forever) I hope the new game will respect their relationship OR ELSE.

Wow, this is quite the list. I do have an amazing taste, if I do say so myself, ahah!

All right, one of the main things I talk about on this blog are ships, so here's a quick rundown of my favorites.

Kyoko Sakura/Sayaka Miki (Puella Magi Madoka Magica

Ah, KyoSaya, my beloved. What can I say about them? Let's start with how they are each other's perfect foils, with several important similarities to draw them together while several major differences to keep that spicy clashing. They are the perfect example of soulmates, two characters who, when in opposition, constantly get worse and worse, but when they're on the same page, they bring out each other's best qualities. Not bad for a relationship that started with mutual murder attempts and had a murder/suicide as its midpoint!

Canon? Eh, sort of. Obviously, PMMM likes to skirt the line, but they definitely knew what they were doing. So, not officially confirmed canon, more of, "And they were roommates!"

2. Suletta Mercury/Miorine Rembran (Gundam: the Witch from Mercury)

You know a pairing is strong when it's the most recent one but also rocketed up to the number two spot.

Suletta and Miorine are opposites attracting in its purest form. The socially anxious and all loving country girl and the cold and cynical corporate heiress, these two are such fundamentally different people that if it weren't for the bizarre circumstances that brought them together, they probably wouldn't even be friends. But they were brought together, and as the grew to understand one another and got closer, both they and we found just how much they had in common, and how perfectly they complemented one another, with each of their strengths covering the other's weaknesses.

Canon? Absolutely. They're married, bitches! No further interpretation needed!

3. Shinji Ikari/Asuka Langley/Rei Ayanami (Neon Genesis Evangelion)

The one poly ship I am absolutely feral over, AsuShinRei (or the Israfel Special) are an example of a ship that cannot work in canon, would absolutely be a terrible idea in canon, but man, don't you wish you lived in the world where it would work? For as toxic, avoidant, and abusive these three are to each other, their respective traumas and personalities are such that if they could get just the slightest bit better and reach out to one another instead of pushing each other away, they would click so wonderfully well. Alas, it is not meant to be.

Canon? Lol, no.

4. Princess Entrapta/Hordak (She-Ra and the Princesses of Power)

I debated putting this one so high up over the heavy hitters that it sits atop upon, but at the end of the day, as a grumpy autistic introvert, these two just meant so much to me. It's like each represents different aspects of my personality, and watching them interact made me feel seen in a way I didn't even know I needed.

Canon? Kind of. At the very least, they're extremely close friends with a possibility for romance.

5. Luz Noceda/Amity Blight (The Owl House)

I had a real hard time choosing whether this or Catradora should take the number five spot, but while Catradora has that wonderful enemies to lovers with so much delicious angst, Lumity edges it out by being the rare pairing that got together at the midpoint, letting us actually see their relationship build and grow instead of ending on them getting together, and it was wonderful.

Canon? Absolutely.

6. Adora/Catra (She-Ra and the Princesses of Power)

But let's not take anything away from Catradora. I love enemies to lovers. It's that spice of conflict between two people that are at constant odds but also deeply understand one another better than their friends do that makes all the difference, and them being former best friends just pushes it over the edge. You can feel how much they care, no matter how often or how violently they fought, and Catra being pulled back from the brink and the two finally being honest with their feelings was so cathartic.

Canon? Hell yeah.

7. Nanoha Tamamachi/Fate Testarossa (Lyrical Nanoha)

An oldie but a goodie. Nanoha and Fate are probably my first real ship, and set the standard for many of my ships to come. Enemies to lovers, close personal relationship, battle couple, whole nine yards. And while it predates me truly getting into shipping, meaning I'm not as gaga over them as I am the others, you have got to respect those who paved the way.

Canon? Basically. I mean, the time period and culture prevented them from outright saying it, but come on.

8. Marisa Kirisame/Alice Margatroid (Touhou)

To be honest, I don't ship/ship these two like I do the others. More of, I read a lot of really touching doujins about these two when I was first getting into Touhou and I like their dynamic. But like NanoFate, you have to give it up to the OG's.

Canon? Nah.

And any other ships fall into "I liked them when I was a kid, but feel really weird talking about them as an adult" or "MC x Best Girl in a harem series, but does that really count?" or stuff that I like but don't feel strongly enough about them to include.

It's just sad that there aren't many people who know their endeavors after Kalafina. You are absolutely right. Most fans have no idea what's going on these days. I am continuously surprised by how utterly uninvolved so many of them are, even the ones who claim to be longtime dedicated fans. Every time I get a question about Wakana's situation I cannot help but wonder if that person has been living under a rock for the past five years...But yeah, I guess not everyone is as invested as little old me XD

And yes, it is a shame that only few fans are interested in their solo work. To some extent it's understandable of course. We like what we like and their solo stuff is considerably different to what we are used to from Yuki Kajiura and Kalafina but nonetheless, I feel an inherent desire to support them. I will openly admit that I am not as passionate about most of their solo releases but I still enjoy enough of it to keep me invested, at least for the time being. Sometimes I will have these phases where I think that I am slowly falling out of love with them but my most recent live experiences have once again shown me that I am still 100% smitten with my girls. Their performances continue to blow me away. They have my heart💗

Feysand: secret relationship+time travel (for the ask game)

oooh this is so fun!! part of me wants to go like. a little bit of a time traveller's wife type beat?? where rhys just kind of keeps showing up at different periods of time for feyre.

i think the secret aspect might be not quite keeping the relationship ENTIRELY secret, but likely rhys keeping the extent of how much he has been fucking with time away from both feyre and the inner circle. like, this man is quite literally going to move heaven and earth if he is able to make sure things go well for feyre, because she is his beloved.

i can also absolutely see thia going into angsty territory as well (though this may be bc of my own wip's ive got brewing atm 👀) where it starts to take such a deeply physical toll on his body after a while, or even in a madoka magica way where the more rhys changes things specifically for feyre, the more he dooms her and its a ourobouros of tragedy.

i have this curse where whenever i buy merch from a series i like i suddenly lose interest. every time.

i played genshin impact for a long time. absolutely loved ningguang. very beautiful woman. bought myself a nice figurine of her. almost immediately afterwards i stopped playing.

i kept up with spy x family since p much the beginning of the anime. loved it so much. bought an anya collectible. lost interest. i still think its good, i just dont have it in me to watch it anymore or keep up with it.

i found a teeny tiny figurine of power from csm. i fell in love with it instantly, especially since she was my favorite character. i ended up never finishing csm, nor do i want to. not because i don’t like it, but for some reason i just can’t go back to it. i want to see my girl power again but my brain just won’t let me. so i gave the teensy power to a friend instead.

i’ve been a massive madoka magica fan for YEARS. it quickly became my favorite series ever, with rebellion being my favorite movie, homura akemi my favorite character. absolutely beloved. i searched high and low for affordable rebellion merch ever since watching it for the first time. finally found a homura at a mall for about ninety dollars. kinda spendy, but hey it’s my favorite character from my favorite series. after buying it, i tried watching through pmmm again. i can’t finish it. i still love it, id recommend it to a lot of people, and im so excited for the upcoming movie, but i just can’t force myself to watch the show again. i can’t do it. idk why.

she is my daughter !! i rlly love the love she has to offer to the world !! and most importantly, i love her passion for basketball as well -- i rlly enjoyed how integral she was to the teams she was a manager to due to her data collecting, and how those analytical abilities made her a force to be reckoned with !! in conclusion, that's my girl !!

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

ok i do feel like i answered that in the last question, so i'll add that im absolutely so endeared by the fact she nicknames many people :] honestly kagamin and midorin are amongst my fav nicknames from her... think kagami and midorima won there

7. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like?

i don't have too much experience with the fandom -- since i got into knb in mid 2022 and rlly have only interacted with a few ppl on tumblr and my friends -- but from what ive seen, i rlly love the amount of love ive seen !! most people ive seen like her a lot and support her !! even those in other fandoms (looking at my beloved a3! fandom the most) -- when momoi's on polls (ex. @/girlygirltournament, @/girls-in-love-bracket, @/pinkandbluebracket) there's always a lot of support for her !!

quick fun fandom thing -- i do want to say that in the pink&blue poll, an alliance was made with a3! fans because both a3! fans and knb fans were super supportive of each other and had a fun competition and ever since then... they have been brother in arms 2 me...

and of course my favorite is still @/pinkhairswagtourney where we arranged for muku (the a3! pink haired boy ever, i even have a little can badge of him) and momoi to tie and be a team together !! and then they won the whole tournament... being able to beat madoka :D and i like to think it is bc of our shared love for charas

madoka magica walpurgisnacht rising half-baked theories below cut!!

i was just thinking, and idk if this means anything, but id like to draw your attention to homuras doppel in magireco (coolmura, not moemura)

her description reads: "The Doppel of Karma. It's form is the mortal world. The master of this emotion visits many worlds in search of an exit, spinning giant threads of fate. Fourteen incomplete bodies born from emotion trail behind the master's body, which has almost completely transformed into glass. In order to achieve their mission, these 14 bodies work methodically and tirelessly to remove obstacles. Regardless of their master's will, they weave the threads of fate, which become tangled in ever more complex patterns, driving her yet further into a maze, the exit of which can hardly be found. These bodies of emotion have no names."

fourteen "bodies of emotion" taking the form of homura that act of their own accord to entrap their master? if we take magireco as canon (i like to pretend its completely separate and have strong opinions about why it shouldn't be canon LOL but thats not important), then these definitely seem like incomplete versions of the clara dolls. it might just be an allusion to them, but it could be taken to imply that their initial forms are various homuras - that they don't take on the form of clara dolls as we know them until homulily is realized.

if we run with this idea, then does that say anything about homuras existence as it pertains to the witch system? maybe that she's still destined to become a witch, but has yet to fully mature? from there, can we also further back up the claim that homura will become walpurgisnacht? homulily's power was constrained by her existence within a soul gem, but between losing that constraint and inevitably gaining karma from pulling part of god away, surely homura could become an even more powerful witch, right?

side note with regards to the 15th clara doll, ai, who is said to have "not arrived yet" - i was thinking about what homura says to kyubey as she becomes a demon: that he could never hope to understand her new power because said power is love (ai). maybe she's suggesting (either intentionally or inadvertently) that the final clara doll herself is responsible for this new world order. and since love is an emotion she shares with madoka, maybe instead of taking homuras form, ai takes inspiration from both homura and madoka - the two sources of her emotion. i think that would make sense alongside both the theory that the mystery trailer girlie is (a) ai, and (b) a mix of both homura and madoka. ai is the one emotion that is intrinsically tied to madoka; her existence would be impossible without both homura and madoka.

im kinda just rambling here, but it'd be super neat if this gave anyone any ideas to share!! id love to hear your thoughts!! ♡ i hope you find reason to smile today!!

Van Helsing: I've said this before, and I'll say it again... this movie is what made me who I am today and gave me my first celebrity crush (Hugh Jackman). The hunters? Story? The werewolves? The most accurate portrayal of Frankenstein's monster? I don't care if it has a low rating. It's a 10 in my heart!!!

The Craft: Big, BIG comfort movie. Whenever I don't know what to watch, I put this on and just have it as background noise. I wanted so badly to be in a coven and have a witch as my mentor. The fashion, too? Oml... also Nancy's monologue. You'll have me randomly scream-whispering, "You don't even EXIST to me!" alone in my room lmao.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica Rebellion: The movie was quite polarizing when it came out. When I first watched it, I wasn't sure what to feel about it... now? I absolutely adore this film. The animation, story, the characters, the plot twist at the end? This movie is an experience. If you like anime with dreamlike and beautiful animation, you'll like this one. Make sure to watch the series first, though!

The Picture of Dorian Gray: DORIAN MY BELOATHED. First book I read where the protagonist is a dick lmao. Blew my mind because "wow... I can write about someone who is bad???" I was 17 when I first read it and had a completely different opinion than I do now, considering I read it recently (during the lockdown).

Brave New World: This book opened my eyes to the world of fake Utopias and made me appreciate sci-fi. I am a big fantasy, supernatural, horror girlie so I was never interested in anything sci-fi. I like the old and forgotten, not the new and imagined. Aldous Huxley made me shut the hell up because this is my favorite book ever. Easily top three.

The Stranger: This book I read recently but man... so short but so powerful, it blew my damn mind and I just had to sit down for a few minutes just taking all of it in. Albert Camus threw himself in the favorite writer spot. It's a nice and short summer read!!!

The Anime Binge-Watcher's Queer Anime Ship Tournament: Round 1 Results!

The first round has come to an end, and what a round it was! Huge blowouts, shocking reversals, hard choices, and many worthy opponents struck down by even worthier ones before they even got a chance to shine. This is already proving exactly as chaotic as I'd hoped, and I couldn't be more proud of y'all for it. So before we head on to round 2, here's a breakdown of how all the match-ups went and the most dramatic moments!

Most Voted Poll: Far and away the poll with the most votes was Bumbleby vs ToukoYuu, with a staggering 797 votes! No surprises there; both these ships are true all-timers with incredibly passionate fanbases who battled back and forth until the Bloomers pulled into a lead the RWBYheads just couldn't make up. But it was a well-fought battle! Second place goes to ChisaTaki vs MadoHomu with an equally impressive 698 votes, and NanoFate vs KobaTohru pulled an impressive third place with 497 votes.

Least Voted Poll: In a shock I didn't see coming, KukuFuuka vs KumiRei came in last with a measly 164 votes. I guess it's no surprise more people haven't heard of the criminally underrated Aquatope, but Kumirei??? One of the beloved gay ships in all of 2010s anime and so few people turned out for it? The mind just boggles, I tell ya. Second place goes to CocoPapi vs The Doukyuusei Boys with just 183, with AoiHina vs YukiTouya coming just behind with a 188 vote third place.

Biggest Blowout: Meanwhile, in the complete opposite of a shock, UtenAnthy absolutely demolished Ymir x Historia with a staggering 90.2% to 9.8% victory. Listen, I love my Attack on Titan girls, but they never stood a chance against one of the founding titans of queer anime love stories. Ditto poor ShamiMomo who went up against the newly crowned patron saint of anime lesbians SuleMio and got stomped 87.1% to 12.9% in second place. Compared to them, YukiTouya's third place finish against AoiHina with 74.5% to 25.5% doesn't seem like much, does it?

Closest Nail-Biter: In another big shock for me, the blowout victory I expected for NanoFate turned into the narrowest of losses against Kobayashi x Tohru, 50.5% to 49.5%- only a single percentage apart! Clearly, I underestimated how powerful the dragon lesbians have become in the years since their arrival. Kase x Yamada also just barely eked out a win against ReoMabu with a 51.2% to 48.8% second place finish. Third place went to Aoi Hana vs RekiLanga with a narrow 54.8% to 45.2% victory for RekiLanga.

As for me personally? Believe it or not, it was almost a perfect split! 9 of my picks made it through while the other 7 fell short. I'm shocked how close that ended up! WOMEN IN BEYBLADE! I love them very much I honestly wish I could have more brain worms for them. Unfortunately, Pluto and Johannes trumps all. (Although to be fair to me, all my women attention will always be prioritized to OCs because they're my precious little things). Despite that, I think MFB girls are great and while they are quite flawed in how they were written, I think they're amazing.

Motti

I mean this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone considering how often I draw her out of all the Beyblade characters (excluding the obvious two). She is just such an adorable and charming character. No I do not care if she is a minor side character who doesn't get much screen time, she's Motti! I have such a soft spot for her and I absolutely love seeing content of her in my timeline :)

2. Sophie

Oh Sophie beloved, she's a close spot for number one honestly. I haven't worked on her much for quite some time but I still love her lots. One of my all-time favourite designs in all of MFB. She's a bit silly for choosing Julian of all people to dedicate her loyalty too, but I still love her regardless. One day I'll work more on my ideas for her post Fury.

3. Madoka

Madoka has been carrying the protagonists since the beginning how could I not put her on this list. She's the voice of reason and without her, the whole of Gingka's gang would probably be dead. Asides from how much I like her in the show, her design is just so cute in general. I love giving her other outfits she's very fun to draw.

4. Hikaru

Through my Fusion rewatch, I've grown to love Hikaru more and more. I like how much spirit she has in Fusion and it really sucks to see how they barely did anything with Hikaru in Masters and Fury. I think having her quit Beyblade out of trauma is an interesting idea, but they didn't do very much with it. Overall, I really like her and I'm sure with time, I'll continue to like her even more.

5. Mei Mei

Mei Mei is a member of Team Wang Hu Zhong so she already gets many plus points. She's so precious to me like Motti is. I want to eventually write some more interactions with her and my OC He Li Hua eventually. I wish there was more people who were normal about her but other than that, Mei Mei is great!

I’m going around asking a lot of people this, so feel free to ignore it if you want, but I thought this might be a good way for people to shout out some of the fanfic they really enjoy! Btw, if you can, I thought it would be helpful to list which site this fic was on so others could find it easier if they wanted to. Favorite MFB fics:

Boy was this not an easy question to answer. I’ve been in this fandom for a very long time, so I’ve read many MANY fanfics! In fact! The MFB fandom was my first fandom ever, it’s how I discovered fanfiction at age 13! Another funfact: many MANY fanfics I loved were deleted many years ago. So, I will go with what’s left!

Choosing my favorite fics was a toughie but I did my best to compile them in this answer! (I put links in all the titles, so you just click on them if you want to check them out!)

Life at the WBBA: Written by my lovely long time friend Liv aka Ollie! This fanfic is pretty much a lot of one-shots about the legendary bladers living at the WBBA, this fic eventually inspired my Adoption AU! So…If you want to see the OG, read this!

Almost Got 'Im: Also written by my beloved friend! Based on the iconic episode of Batman the Animated Series, the villains of the show reunite for a poker night while discussing how they almost beat Gingka. Spoilers: None of them did.

How to Make a Successful Match in Only Three Phases: This fanfic is something the lovely Liv actually wrote for me back in the day! As many of you know, I actually came up with the Yuki/Motti ship, and I’ll be honest, I thought I would get kicked out by the fandom. But instead Liv reached out to me and told me they had been inspired to write this thanks to one of my fics! This story is Benkei being a matchmaker, need I say more??

A Season Of Festivities: Now we go to another absolute legend! JuniperGentle aka Pippin! Their fanfics were always an absolute delight and this one is one of the most heartwarming ones! An anthology of MFB characters celebrating their winters holidays! Your fav character probably has a chapter, so give it a try!

Phosphorus: THIS FIC OMG! Okay, so, it’s still unfinished BUT GOSH IS IT GOOD! It’s an AU where Tithi is the one that follows Ryuuga around instead of Kenta!

Kenta's Imagination: This is one of the first fanfics in English I’ve ever read, and frankly, the concept of Kenta playing pretend is timeless!

 Underappreciated: Ever since the old fanfic days, Madoka would get the short end of the stick thanks to weirdos writing hate fics about her like there was no tomorrow. HOWEVER, there were a few good writers that wrote nice fics featuring her. I think this is my favorite, it’s simple, adorable, and it explores her character nicely!

Yu and Kenta's Scavenger Hunt: Literally what the title suggests! The sillies in a scavenger hunt!

The Best Nickname: Hands down THE BEST old fanfic that explores Yu’s and Tsubasa’s friendship. Tsubasa ponders about why he is the only one Yu never gave a nickname to! But little did he know, he has one. Yu is just secretive about it.

What Makes Her Different: Okay, so this one is a bit personal. This was the very first fanfic in English I read by myself without google translator. I was still struggling learning the language, but I loved the few things I understood about this fic, so I would read it over and over until I managed to fully understand it! It’s an abandoned fanfic (the writer had an incident with their old computer and could never finish it). It’s about Madoka suddenly getting sick and her friends taking care of her because she always looks out for them. It might be incomplete but it’s sweet!

As I was writing this list, I realized that most of the fics I like from AO3 are already on your fanfic list, so I decided to not add them. I hope you like this little list of recommendations!

To answer you another question, it is very hard to choose because I love most of the fics I’ve written.

However…I think I would have to go with five fanfics:

The Backdoor: I cannot express how much fun I had writing this. I loved coming up with the bits of Beyblade history, including details from Zero G, and having Yuki and Motti go through this little adventure! I am also pretty sure this was one of the first fics I wrote after I got back into the MFB fandom after many years. Thanks to a silly series of events on Tumblr, I met a lot of wonderful people in the fandom that I’m glad to have in my life!

So a Few Villain Kids Walk Into a Youth Group and...:

Writing this was such a challenge, but I am so happy I managed to finish it! I been having a lot of headcannons about the cult of Nemesis for a long time and this fic is just the tip of the iceberg! I loved writing Johannes dealing with group therapy and having to face the fact that he has friends.

 They Are My Boys:

When I wrote this fic I was a bit scared of sharing this AU with the world. But the fact that it was received so warmly just encouraged me to keep writing!

I'm Not Nice!:

So…Writing this one was a surprise even for me because I have a confession to make…I can’t stand Kyoya. But something about writing a fanfic with everyone dunking on him and his bad boy persona was so fun!

And finally…

The Drawbacks of Being Raised in an Isolated Temple:

So, writing this fic took me a lot of work because I had to talk to a lot of people about some questions I had to make this fic work, and the amazing support I got from those friends made me realize how much I love to write friendship and found family. I loved writing the friendships and dynamics in this fanfic and then the reception was so overwhelmingly positive, I was ecstatic!

There is another reason why this fic means a lot to me, it’s a bit personal but let’s just say that it brought something back to my life and I couldn’t be more thankful!
